Carrots are the sweetest tasting vegetable with the very highest concentration of natural sugar. If you have a hard time with your blood sugar, make sure to keep an eye out for how your body responds to carrots.

However, due to the high carotenoids that carrots contain, carrots may be beneficial to your blood sugar levels. Scientists say that carrots can help protect your lungs, colon and may help maintain  your eye site.
